Avian Ecology Establishes New Headquarters at Sci-Tech Daresbury
Avian Ecology, a prominent ecological consultancy focused on the renewables sector, has officially launched its new headquarters at Sci-Tech Daresbury, integrating 28 employees into the vibrant campus community.
Sci-Tech Daresbury, situated in the Liverpool City Region, is renowned for its innovative science, technology, and business environment. Avian Ecology joins a network of over 160 businesses within this thriving campus. The consultancy has acquired over 2,000 square feet of office space in Techspace Two, a modern two-storey grade-A building that provides a high-quality workspace designed for collaboration.
Joe Whittick, Technical Director of Avian Ecology, expressed enthusiasm about the relocation, stating, “Relocating our head office to Sci-Tech Daresbury marks an exciting new chapter for Avian Ecology and our growing team. We’ve seen rapid growth recently and with our team increasing by 20% over the year, now is the right time to move into this new, high-quality workspace.”
He further noted, “We’ve chosen the Sci-Tech Daresbury campus for several reasons, including its extensive opportunities to collaborate with other experts in our field. Cross-collaboration will be invaluable as we enhance our nationwide services to deliver leading sustainable solutions, and particularly within the renewables sector. It’s fantastic to be here, and we’re very much looking forward to embedding ourselves in the daily working life on campus.”
Founded in 2007, Avian Ecology offers a wide range of environmental consultancy services across the UK, including ecological surveys, impact assessments, mitigation, and monitoring. The firm has established a strong reputation for its contributions to major renewable energy projects, particularly in wind and solar farm developments.
Avian Ecology is part of Origin Enterprises, a leading agri-services group that provides technically-driven solutions to farmers, promoting sustainable agricultural practices. Origin operates through 27 companies across two continents.
