BAUX was founded on the belief that building materials should be sustainable, highly functional, and visually striking. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, BAUX designs, manufactures, and markets construction materials that meet the modern demands of architects, engineers, and builders—without compromising on safety or environmental standards. Since its launch in 2014, BAUX has expanded to over 30 regions worldwide, working with clients such as Google, Stella McCartney, WeWork, Spotify, and Nike. The company is a joint venture led by entrepreneurs Johan Ronnestam and Fredrik Franzon, alongside the founders of the design studio Form Us With Love: Jonas Pettersson, John Löfgren, and Petrus Palmér.

Their 100% bio-based BAUX Acoustic Pulp panel is the first of its kind to combine exceptional sound absorption, safety, and durability with sustainability and contemporary aesthetics. Free from harmful chemicals, it is made using sustainably harvested Swedish fir and pine, recycled water, non-GMO wheat bran, potato starch, plant-derived wax, and citrus fruit peels—offering an environmentally friendly acoustic solution.

BAUX Acoustic Wood Wool Panels and Tiles are crafted from recyclable, natural materials, including wood wool, cement, and water. These components work together to provide a range of functional benefits, including moisture regulation, low emissions, sound absorption, heat accumulation, and fire resistance, making them a durable and sustainable choice for modern interiors.
