Bridgerton Fans Can Now Follow in the Footsteps of the Ton at Blenheim Palace

For devotees of the hit Netflix series “Bridgerton,” the opportunity to immerse themselves in the show’s lavish world has arrived with the launch of a new film trail at Blenheim Palace, the Oxfordshire-based attraction that has served as a backdrop for both the original series and its prequel, “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.”

The stately palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, announced the debut of the Bridgerton Film Trail in July, allowing visitors to retrace the steps of the infamous cast and experience the original filming locations that have graced the small screen.

The trail guides fans through the Great Court, which was transformed into a bustling scene adorned with royal guards and opulent carriages during the filming of “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.” This area, which portrayed Buckingham House in the prequel series, is just one of the many stops along the immersive journey.

Fans can also marvel at the Water Terraces, which were magically transformed into the enchanting outdoor space for the final ball scene in “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.” This picturesque location serves as a highlight of the new film trail.

As visitors wander through the exquisite State Rooms of Blenheim Palace, they will encounter familiar settings from the latest season of “Bridgerton.” The Long Library, which appears twice in episode 7, and the Saloon, where Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury engage in an intense game of chess as the Queen attempts to uncover the identity of Lady Whistledown, are both featured on the trail.

In a nod to the final episode of the new season, the trail also leads visitors to the Water Terraces, where the two older Featherington sisters are seen strolling with their husbands, providing yet another opportunity to relive the on-screen magic.

To commemorate the new series and the immersive film trail, Blenheim Palace has created a unique fan photo opportunity at the end of the experience. Visitors can capture selfies surrounded by a stunning archway adorned with wisteria, adding a touch of whimsy to their Bridgerton-inspired adventure.
