BSN Group has announced a remarkable achievement, reporting a record turnover of £45 million for its 2025 financial year, solidifying its status as one of the UK’s fastest-growing construction contractors. This figure marks a significant increase from £25 million in 2024, driven by robust performance in the healthcare and living sectors.
The contractor’s growth has been propelled by major projects with esteemed clients, including Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Tamworth Borough Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, and University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Trust. This impressive turnover growth is built on a foundation of work already secured, complemented by the strategic appointment of joint managing director Nick Gibb to the board alongside founder Darren Perry and group commercial director Jennifer Reynolds, which is expected to be crucial for the company’s next growth phase.
Perry commented on the success, stating, “The delivery of flagship projects such as The Drey Hotel in London for Cerberus and key student accommodation projects in Dundee and Newcastle have helped build our ever-growing portfolio of work across the Midlands and beyond, and these were critical to our turnover growth in 2025.”
He further emphasised the importance of repeat business, saying, “Equally important has been the level of repeat business we continue to secure from our clients, which demonstrates that strong, trusted relationships are the foundation of any successful business. That trust has been built through the consistent hard work and commitment of our people, who play a vital role in everything we deliver.”
As BSN Group looks to the future, increasing its workforce with the right talent remains a key priority, alongside maintaining high standards. Perry expressed pride in the company’s supply chain partners, many of whom have grown alongside BSN and share its vision.
“We now have a true array of projects across the country, and when you supplement that with our deep expertise and long-term relationships in the healthcare sector, it adds up to a strong pipeline of future work,” Perry added.
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, the contractor aims to continue its sustainable growth. Perry noted, “For us, 2025 was about taking strategic decisions to bolster and strengthen our offering both in terms of the people on our team and the sectors in which we operate, and we are looking to continue in that vein with further senior appointments in the coming months.”
BSN Group operates as a trusted delivery partner, capable of managing projects valued between £250,000 and £50 million, demonstrating its proficiency in both live and complex environments. The construction arm is part of a wider group that includes a fast-track operation designed to support a reactive market for fast-paced projects.
With additional businesses in healthcare, heritage, engineering, and electrical contracting, the wider BSN team comprises more than 80 members, earning the company recognition in the UK Fast Growth Index. Perry remarked, “This year’s performance has massively benefitted from our diverse business array, which has helped us consistently operate as that trusted delivery partner across a broad range of project types and sizes.”
He concluded by highlighting the strategic growth plans for 2026 and beyond, noting, “These businesses form a key part of our strategic growth plans for 2026 and beyond, with the impact of the acquisition of our engineering arm in particular likely to deliver significant growth over the next twelve months.”
