CPMG Architects Reports Significant Growth and New Appointments in First Half of 2026

CPMG Architects, the award-winning practice headquartered in Nottingham, has announced a period of substantial growth during the first six months of 2026, marked by multiple new hires and internal promotions.

The firm, located in Nottingham City Centre, has expanded its team with the addition of architect Sam Winton, senior architects Nastasia Artelari and Michael Photiou, as well as senior architectural technologists Daniel Sarson and Ashley Maxim. Architectural technologists Will Hopkins and Lavinder Jandu have also joined, alongside Part 1 architectural assistant Michela Liona, Part 2 architectural assistants Stu Napier and Esha Sonar, and accounts assistant Nicolina Rile, broadening the practice’s expertise.

In a strategic move to enhance its low carbon consultancy services, Tom Ridley-Thompson has been appointed associate director at the Nottingham studio. This role supports CPMG’s commitment to sustainable design and service expansion.

CPMG has also extended its national footprint with the launch of a new studio in Leeds, led by newly promoted associate director Alex Walker. Alex is tasked with driving the studio’s strategic objectives, particularly in education, healthcare, residential, and industrial sectors.

In London, the practice has retained and developed talent, exemplified by architectural assistant Ieuan Thomas’s relocation from Nottingham to the capital. This move supports the ongoing expansion of the London team, which recently welcomed Part 2 architectural assistant Safwa Chowdhury and architectural technologist Zaheen Ibrahimi.
