Elephant & Castle food hall set to open with launch-week special offers
The Elephant Exchange Food Hall will open in Elephant & Castle on Thursday 12 November, with Kids Eat Free and bottomless tea and coffee available during its first week.
The venue, within the Elephant Exchange development, is the latest opening from hospitality group Blend Family. Its launch offers will run throughout the first week, including the weekend. The food hall is intended to welcome families, people working remotely and visitors meeting friends.
Independent food businesses will operate alongside a central bar and coffee shop, bringing a range of cuisines and food and drink options together under one roof.
Matt Bigland, Co-founder of Blend Family, said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring The Elephant Exchange Food Hall to life and officially welcome people through the doors. Elephant & Castle is such a vibrant and diverse part of London, and we want the food hall to reflect that by creating a space where everyone feels welcome, whether they’re coming in for a family meal, catching up with friends or settling in with a hot drink while they work.
“We wanted to make the opening week feel like a real celebration of the local community. With Kids Eat Free throughout the first week, including the weekend, and bottomless coffee for those working from the food hall, we’re looking forward to welcoming people in and giving them a taste of what Blend Family food halls are all about.”
The Elephant Exchange Food Hall joins Blend Family’s UK venues, including Cutlery Works and Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield, Kargo MKT in Salford Quays, Tower Bridge Collective in London and Alfred Works in Digbeth, Birmingham.
Blend Family brings independent food businesses together in shared spaces, where visitors can discover different operators and eat, drink and spend time.
