• Biodiversity – with 25 acres of land there are 250 plant species found indigenous to the area or ones that have been cultivated like mangoes and guavas
• Community Engagement – is very much in the heart of what drives Kinsterna. It prefers local producers, artisans, the staff (70% comes from the surrounding area). By restoring and marking the historical paths, Kinsterna supports sustainable tourism whilst promoting the area’s cultural heritage like the village of Koulendia or the mill at Talanda one of only twelve left in the region.
• Environmental Responsibility – the estate operates as an eco-conscious retreat, utilising solar panels producing renewable energy sources. The excess of electricity produced is then supplied to the local vulnerable households, churches, schools etc.
