Pink Storage Expands with £1.5M Investment in Nottingham Self Storage Site

Pink Storage, one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent self storage companies, has completed a strategic investment of just under £1.5 million into a newly acquired 1.3-acre site in Nottingham.
The deal includes the £1.1 million successful acquisition of StoreWise, a 102-unit facility, and a further £370,000 to upgrade and bring the site in line with Pink Storage’s modern, technology-led standards. As part of the site transformation, Pink Storage will add 150 new units, significantly increasing capacity and accessibility to secure storage.
The move marks a significant milestone in Pink Storage’s rapid expansion strategy, bringing its portfolio to 22 sites across the UK – a growth of 22 per cent this year.
Rebrand in Progress
The former StoreWise site is now undergoing a complete rebrand with the new owner’s unmistakable pink branding, while remaining fully open and operational throughout the upgrade. The transformation is expected to be completed by the end of September 2025, and also includes:
- Resurfaced roadways
- Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)
- 24/7 CCTV surveillance
- Instant access via online sign-up and secure PIN code entry
As part of the deal, around 100 existing StoreWise clients will be retained and smoothly transitioned to Pink Storage’s digital platform. Pink Storage has also retained the previous owner’s longstanding site manager, who brings more than a decade of experience and industry knowledge to the continued role.

Expansion Plans
This acquisition marks the fourth new branch added to Pink Storage’s portfolio this year, securing presence in the Midlands and the North, while growing its footprint across the UK.
