Premier Modular Reports Strong Profit Growth and Operational Expansion in 2025-26
Premier Modular, a leading offsite construction manufacturer, has announced a significant rise in profits following a successful 2025-26 financial year marked by robust operational performance and strategic investments.
The company recorded a 25.9% increase in Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA), while Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) rose by 10% to £8.9 million. These figures reflect both strong financial health and growing demand for modular building solutions.
To meet this increased demand, Premier Modular expanded its manufacturing capacity by growing its operational fleet by more than 20%, now exceeding 5,000 units. The workforce also grew by 8%, and factory operating hours were extended to approach continuous, round-the-clock production.
In addition to scaling production, the company has shifted its business model to emphasise its rental divisions across the UK and Europe. Rental sales, which generate higher margins compared to permanent sales, accounted for 38% of turnover last year and have increased to 46% this year.
Looking ahead, Premier Modular’s project pipeline continues to grow, driven by rising demand from public infrastructure sectors such as healthcare and education. The company has secured several large-scale infrastructure projects and framework agreements, including becoming a supplier on seven lots of the public sector-owned professional buying organisation ESPO’s new Modular Buildings framework (953).
David Harris, Group CEO, commented: “Despite a turbulent economic landscape, particularly for the construction industry, Premier Modular has done more than just sustain a steady stream of business throughout the year – we’ve managed to grow, invest and safeguard our pipeline of future work. From increasing our productivity to hiring more people, we’ve hit milestone after milestone, becoming more financially and operationally resilient in the process.”
He added: “None of these achievements could have been possible without the hard work of our team. Our continued success is down to our reputation for high quality, sustainable and innovative modular solutions, excellent customer service and in-depth industry knowledge which has become the bedrock of our operations. We’re proud of all we’ve accomplished this year, and look forward to our continued success in 2026 and beyond.”
