Sæl Spa to Launch as West London’s Premier Luxury Wellness Destination

Set to open in May 2026, Sæl Spa at Fulham Pier will be West London’s first dedicated luxury spa and wellness club, located along the picturesque banks of the River Thames. This new establishment, part of Fulham Pier – a vibrant riverside lifestyle destination – aims to serve as a modern sanctuary where members can rejuvenate both body and mind with the support of world-class practitioners.

Sæl Spa will cater primarily to its members, while also offering access to guests of the Fulham Pier Hotel and members of Lighthouse Social. The spa promises an exceptional environment for Londoners looking to recharge, whether as part of a regular wellness routine or during a special hotel stay.

Among the standout features is a 15-metre heated rooftop infinity pool and sun terrace, providing stunning views of the river and one of the few outdoor swimming experiences available in the capital. The spa will also include a penthouse designed for private wellness gatherings.

Inside, Sæl Spa boasts a dedicated movement studio equipped with integrated infrared technology, alongside a wet spa featuring experience showers, a Finnish dry sauna, and a botanical steam room. Additionally, contrast therapy suites will combine infrared sauna and cold plunge facilities.

The spa will unite a team of specialists in wellness and clinical health. Inge Theron, Founder of FaceGym and spa design studio ITANDA, has been instrumental in shaping the longevity concept and wellness programming. Members can expect thoughtfully curated movement sessions, including 1:1 reformer Pilates, personal training, yoga, breathwork, and sound-based recovery practices.

Clinical expertise is a core aspect of Sæl’s offerings. Through 3 Peaks Health, members will have access to diagnostics led by Dr. Mark Mikhail, which include blood analysis, microbiome mapping, and targeted neurostimulation. Treatment rooms will feature a menu of therapies from renowned brands such as Omorovicza, SkinCycles, BIOEFFECT, and Wildsmith Skin, encompassing advanced skin treatments, regenerative bodywork, and circadian-aligned massage aimed at enhancing energy, recovery, and sleep.

A dedicated Recovery Lounge will provide advanced recovery experiences in a tranquil setting designed for deep rest and reset. BON CHARGE™, the premium wellness brand and Official Red Light & Recovery Partner of Fulham FC and Fulham Pier, will offer cutting-edge recovery, performance, sleep, wellbeing, and beauty treatments using award-winning science-backed red light and PEMF tools integrated into the spa.

In addition to BON CHARGE™ treatments, Sæl will provide in-house recovery services, including IV infusions, compression therapy, and immersive vibro-acoustic relaxation beds. Membership options will allow for personalised wellbeing pathways tailored to individual goals, such as cognitive clarity, sleep recovery, peak performance, and metabolic reset, alongside access to a year-round programme of expert talks, workshops, and rooftop sessions.

Pantri, Sæl’s all-day recovery café and social hub, will offer nutrient-dense menus designed to support hydration, energy, and recovery throughout the day. The architecture and interiors of Sæl Spa are designed to maximise natural light and maintain a connection to the River Thames, promoting circadian rhythm alignment, recovery, and cognitive performance.

The name Sæl, derived from Old English meaning calm, happy, or blessed, along with its bespoke lettering inspired by historic type found in the Thames, reflects themes of renewal and regeneration.

Sæl Spa will be part of the broader Fulham Pier destination, which includes the Fulham Pier Hotel, private members club Lighthouse Social, London’s only riverside food hall Riverside Market, and Brasserie Constance by Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt, along with a variety of year-round events and cultural programming. Together, these establishments aim to create a vibrant community hub and a unique riverside escape in London.

Michaela Hurst, Head of Sæl Spa at Fulham Pier, stated: “Sæl Spa is designed around how people want to live today, where wellbeing is approached as a connected system. By bringing together movement, recovery, clinical insight, and longevity in a beautiful riverside setting, and structuring this through personalised pathways, we support not just how people feel in the moment, but how they function over time. It’s a more considered, measurable approach to wellbeing – and one designed to be returned to.”

Inge added: “Sæl Spa is the future of British wellness. We’ve brought together the country’s most exceptional practitioners, bathing rituals, bodywork, and beauty in a single destination where ancient practice meets modern expertise. Sæl Spa is the fullest expression of a concept rooted in science shaped by the best British minds in each field. It’s precise, it’s purposeful, and it’s long overdue.”

Dr. Mark Mikhail remarked: “One of the biggest challenges in modern wellness is cutting through the noise. At Sæl Spa, our focus is on helping members understand what their bodies need, using clinical insight to create personalised treatment plans that deliver real, lasting results.”

Memberships will start from £3,000. For more information, visit saelspa.com.
