Loc8me has expanded its student lettings operations to Exeter, extending its reach from Newcastle in the north to the South West. Managing over 2,500 properties remotely from Bristol, the agency aims to meet growing demand for quality student accommodation in key university cities like Exeter. This move will increase lettings capacity and job opportunities in the area. Loc8me broadens student housing coverage from Newcastle to Exeter, managing 2,500+ properties remotely to meet rising demand for quality student accommodation.

With the new Exeter branch becoming loc8me’s most southern managed region, and Newcastle remaining its most northern, the 367-mile distance between them highlights how the company’s offering now spans the full length of the UK.

The expansion marks another significant milestone for loc8me, with the Exeter region being managed from its existing Bristol office, adding to more than 2,500 managed properties and houses for over 8,000 students across its growing UK portfolio.

It also reflects loc8me’s continued response to rising demand for high-quality, professionally managed student accommodation in high-demand university cities.

The move is expected to create a number of new roles in lettings, property management, and compliance, increasing capacity in the Exeter student housing market.

Exeter is home to over 30,000 students at the University of Exeter, where demand for well-managed, modern student accommodation remains strong.

Raffaele Russo, founder of loc8me, said: “Exeter has a thriving student community and a real appetite for choice and quality.

“This is a city where students expect more from their homes, and expanding into Exeter allows us to deliver exactly that.”

He continued: “As demand for high-quality student homes continues to rise, we’re committed to raising standards and providing properties that students genuinely love to live in.”

Loc8me will provide its full property management services to the region remotely from Bristol, including tenant support, maintenance, and a 24/7 service. Standards will be upheld through its recently launched Seal of Approval programme, designed to ensure consistency, safety, and quality across all properties.

For local landlords, the remote management model brings access to loc8me’s marketing reach, compliance expertise, and established reputation for operational excellence, helping them deliver a better, more consistent rental experience for students.

“This latest expansion shows how much potential there still is to improve student housing in the UK,” Raffaele added.

“We’ve built our growth on trust, consistency, and innovation, and we’re not slowing down. Exeter is the next step in that journey, and we’re excited to get started.”

Earlier this year, loc8me facilitated more than 7,500 student moves across its portfolio following soaring rental demand.

Its latest data also shows more than 40,000 students now interact with the brand each year through its growing digital platform and property network.
