Swedish Consultancy Qflow Expands into UK Market with Trio of Acquisitions

Swedish civil engineering consultancy group Qflow has officially launched its UK operations through the acquisition of three specialist firms, marking a significant step in its ambition to become a leading European consultancy.

Comprising 40 businesses and over 1,300 consultants, Qflow specialises in community development and sustainable infrastructure, with an established footprint across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. The recent acquisitions extend its reach into the UK, enhancing its service offerings and regional presence.

The companies acquired include Caneparo Associates, a London-based transport planning and highway design consultancy known for handling large and complex urban development projects. Caneparo provides comprehensive services from initial feasibility studies through to statutory processes, transport assessments, and detailed highway design.

Also joining Qflow is EAS Transport Planning, a Hertfordshire-based technical consulting firm focused on transport planning, highway design, and sustainable infrastructure. EAS supports both public and private sector clients in the planning and development of infrastructure projects.

The third acquisition, Blueprint Project Solutions Ltd, is headquartered in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Established in 2011, Blueprint offers project controls, programme management, and risk advisory services across infrastructure, energy, nuclear, and defence sectors.

These acquisitions collectively strengthen Qflow’s position in the UK market, creating a robust platform for growth, collaboration, and knowledge exchange between the UK and Nordic regions.
