Grythyttan Stålmöbler

At 3daysofdesign 2025, Grythyttan Stålmöbler is delighted to display its new 2025 pieces – the A2 Armchair in Green and its High Tech Chair in Ivory, Petrol and Chestnut. Celebrating its 130th anniversary in 2025, Grythyttan Stålmöbler continues to combine classic craftsmanship and timeless Scandinavian design. This year, the brand is delighted to bring these contemporary colourways into its iconic range of classic design pieces.

Discussing the new launches, Karl Lindqvist, 4th generation family founder at Grythyttan, comments, “As Grythyttan celebrates 130 years in 2025, we are delighted to bring a range of new contemporary colourways into our collection. The High-Tech series launches in a Chestnut, Ivory and Petrol colourway, while the A2 and Classic series have been given a new look too, with a lacquered light green oak on a black frame.

Celebrating 130 years of Swedish tradition and craftsmanship, Grythyttan continues to craft from the natural materials of wood and steel, balancing tradition and modernity. All production is carried out by hand in our factory in Grythyttan. No two pieces of furniture are identical – and this is something we are extremely proud of.’

The new A2 armchair in green

Originally designed in 1930 by Artur Lindqvist for The Stockholm Exhibition, in 2025, Grythyttan is delighted to launch this iconic design piece in a new contemporary colourway – Green. Crafted from solid wood and steel, each piece is handmade and fitted with a spring steel mechanism that creates its characteristic rocking mechanism. Using wood from FSC or PEFC, the A2 Armchair is completely recyclable.

The new high tech chair colourways – ivory, petrol & chestnut

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, this design classic promises to add a touch of Scandinavian style to any dining setting this season.
