AskRose brings on 16 staff and pushes Bruntwood building to 100% capacity

Pensions reclaim specialist AskRose is creating 16 jobs to nearly double the headcount at its Altrincham headquarters as part of a major expansion.
Based at Bruntwood and Trafford Council’s Foundation building on George Street, AskRose has grown from a team of five in September 2025 to 17 by May 2026. The new cohort of staff starting over the next month will mean they will have 33 team members.
The move sees AskRose take over the remaining office space of the building and pushes the property to 100% capacity. The 2,910 sq ft of bespoke workspace is currently being fitted out to support the company’s growth.
The new intake of 16 team members will be customer service positions designed to help the 100,000 clients that AskRose currently has on its books.
AskRose helps people losing out due to the Home Responsibilities Protection (HRP) scandal – a multi-million-pound administrative error by HMRC that disproportionately targets and disenfranchises an entire generation of women.
Elaine Walker, director of AskRose, said: “The work we do is because there is an unmet need for specialist advisers in this sector and the number of customers who have signed up with us since 2025 shows how right we were.
“We are very proud of this phenomenal growth – which means that we will be able to do an even better job helping the most important people – our customers.
“The thousands of women who are not able to go through the arduous process of reclaiming their own money from HMRC need our help and this expansion gives us all the tools we need to do this for them efficiently and successfully.
“We are the biggest force in this particular market and it is a responsibility that we take seriously. The current average repayment from the government for our clients is more than £8,000, which is obviously a significant amount of money.
“We are also pleased to be creating more jobs in Altrincham and Greater Manchester with our latest expansion.”
