Batley door firm supplies doors for Golcar wellness pods

Batley Composite Doors has supplied five external doors for The Wellness Pod Company’s facilities in Golcar, Huddersfield, including its Oxy Pod beside Gym Pod HD7 on Leymoor Road.

The collaboration brings together two West Yorkshire businesses. The Wellness Pod Company provides dedicated spaces for fitness and wellbeing, with a private gym and hyperbaric oxygen chamber sessions among its offer.

Adding to the wellness offer

The business was established by property renovation expert Stuart Berry and his wife Kate. Their original aim was to give customers a private alternative to conventional gyms, where they could exercise away from the crowds often associated with larger facilities. The Oxy Pod adds another specialist option for customers’ fitness and wellbeing routines.

“When Kate and I developed Gym Pod, we wanted to create something different — a private space where people could exercise on their own terms,” Stuart Berry said.

“The Oxy Pod builds on that vision by introducing another specialist facility alongside the gym. We’re always looking at ways to develop the concept and give people more choice.

“Working with companies that understand the importance of quality is a big part of bringing these projects together. We’re delighted to have Batley Composite Doors involved and appreciate the support of businesses that share our enthusiasm for doing things differently.”
