Co-Space, a flexible workspace provider, has secured approximately 19,500 sq ft of new office space across two sites in Harlow and Watford. The operator will occupy Market House in Harlow and a 15,000 sq ft area within Watford’s historic Town Hall building.

The 15-year lease agreement with Harlow Council follows the council’s recent acquisition of Market House. This move forms part of Harlow Council’s £23.7 million initiative to rejuvenate Market Square into a vibrant centre for leisure, hospitality, and business activities.

In Watford, Co-Space’s new location is integral to the Town Hall Quarter regeneration scheme, a decade-long project aimed at transforming the area into a mixed-use destination featuring cultural, residential, health, and innovation spaces.

William Stokes, CEO and Co-Founder of Co-Space, commented, “We thrive on supporting local businesses, and partnering with forward-thinking local authorities is exactly what we want to do, and do more of. These projects in both Harlow and Watford show what’s possible when the public and private sectors work together creatively. We’re not just delivering workspace, we’re helping shape places where businesses, communities and local economies can grow and thrive.”

These developments represent Co-Space’s third and fourth collaborations with local authorities, underscoring the company’s commitment to partnerships that foster local entrepreneurship, attract high-quality businesses, and enhance productivity in regional economies.

Harlow’s regeneration strategy capitalises on its strategic location along the Cambridge–London Innovation Corridor, proximity to Stansted Airport, and excellent rail connections to London and Cambridge. The provision of flexible workspace in the town centre aims to attract high-value businesses, generate local employment, retain talent, and promote sustainable economic growth.

Co-Space also highlights the strategic importance of its Watford site, benefiting from the town’s status as a major commercial and commuter hub. With strong connectivity to London, a diverse business community, and ongoing investment through the Town Hall Quarter project, the location is expected to appeal to a wide range of occupiers, from local entrepreneurs to established companies seeking high-quality, well-connected office space.

Desk prices at these new locations will start from £350 plus VAT per month. This cost includes business rates, utilities, and service charges. Further details regarding opening dates have not yet been disclosed.
