Coverys Creates A Flexible New London Office With Fluid

Fluid, an independent furniture consultancy known for designing sustainable and flexible workplaces, has successfully delivered a dynamic office fit-out for Coverys, a leading medical liability insurance provider, at their new London headquarters.

Faced with the challenge of creating multiple meeting areas in a new space, without the disruption of traditional construction, Coverys partnered with Fluid to implement a smarter, modular solution that supports collaboration, privacy and compliance.

As conventional building work presented barriers like landlord permissions, fire regulation hurdles, and long lead times, Fluid helped overcome these challenges by introducing the Campers & Dens meeting pods by Orangebox.

With a patented opening roof system, the pods avoid interference with existing fire safety infrastructure, eliminating the need for Building Control sign-off.

This flexible, freestanding solution significantly reduced both cost and timeline, while providing private, acoustically controlled spaces ideal for focused meetings, and private conversations with no permanent construction required.

Alongside the meeting pods, Fluid curated a mix of Coze booths, Moss lounge chairs, and breakout furniture to create comfortable, informal zones for employees and guests. These areas support spontaneous collaboration and bring a sense of warmth to the workspace, aligning with Coverys’ goal of fostering a welcoming, human-centred environment.

“It was a real seamless installation,” said Penny, Office Manager at Coverys.

“Everything was aligned with what we wanted, and I would definitely use Fluid again.”

To define zones and introduce natural elements into the open-plan layout, Fluid also installed Woods mobile planter units, enhancing flow, reducing visual noise, and promoting wellbeing through biophilic design.

This project is a reflection of Fluid’s commitment to sustainable workspace strategies that support modern hybrid working models.

Through thoughtful product choices, flexible design, and an eye toward wellbeing, Coverys now has a dynamic office that inspires productivity without the downsides of conventional fit-outs.

“At Fluid we believe workspaces should be designed to support people and change as their needs evolve,” said Warwick Flint, Managing Director at Fluid.

“Our work with Coverys shows how flexible furniture solutions can overcome traditional limitations and still deliver high-performing environments. By removing the need for construction and long approvals, we helped them move quickly and efficiently while creating a workplace their teams are proud to be part of.”
