Porcelain Superstore Launches Fez Ruby and Fez Earth Tiles Inspired by Moroccan Zellige
Porcelain Superstore has introduced two new tile designs, Fez Ruby and Fez Earth, for the Autumn/Winter 2026 season, drawing inspiration from traditional Moroccan zellige craftsmanship. These ceramic tiles combine deep, earthy hues with glossy finishes and subtle surface variations, aiming to bring warmth and artisanal character to kitchens and bathrooms.
Abbas Youssefi, Managing Director at Porcelain Superstore, highlighted a shift in interior design preferences: “We’re seeing interiors move away from spaces that feel overly polished or perfect, with homeowners increasingly drawn to colour, texture and finishes that bring a sense of individuality.” He added, “Fez Ruby and Fez Earth tap into that beautifully. Their rich, earthy tones add warmth and depth, while subtle variation and a glossy finish give them that handcrafted, Moroccan-inspired character.”
The tiles are designed to make a strong visual impact, whether covering entire walls for an immersive effect or accentuating smaller areas within neutral schemes. Crafted from durable ceramic, they require no sealing, simplifying installation. Their water-resistant and easy-to-clean properties make them suitable for high-use environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, and shower walls.
Youssefi also noted the artisanal qualities of these tiles: “These tiles are made in Italy, but unlike some modern, mass produced tiles, they have an artisan charm with irregular edges and subtle surface undulations.”
Fez Ruby and Fez Earth tiles are currently available from Porcelain Superstore at a price of £80 per square metre.
