Porcelain Superstore, an independent tile retailer, has introduced the Parador Cotto collection, designed to infuse British interiors with the inviting warmth of Mediterranean aesthetics.
Emulating the soft glow of sun-baked clay, the Parador Cotto tiles offer a natural, relaxed ambiance suitable for various rooms. Their large format design provides a modern appearance that seamlessly suits both floors and walls, delivering a smooth, continuous surface ideal for living rooms and kitchens. In bathrooms, the tiles add a comforting atmosphere without appearing heavy.
Abbas Youssefi, Managing Director of Porcelain Superstore, commented on the collection’s impact: “Tiles have a huge influence on the way a room feels, and the new Parador Cotto collection has been designed to bring instant warmth, softness and character into the home.” He further explained, “The terracotta tones tap into that timeless Mediterranean look people love, but in a way that feels refined and easy to live with. It has the relaxed feel of a villa floor or a rustic coastal retreat, but with a cleaner, more contemporary finish that works beautifully in modern homes.”
Each tile is finished in an earthy terracotta shade featuring subtle variations to authentically reflect Mediterranean character. Crafted from durable porcelain, the tiles are suitable for busy modern households and require minimal maintenance.
Youssefi added, “Warm, earthy tiles are brilliant for adding soul to a space and what makes this collection so appealing is that it delivers the charm of traditional terracotta without the maintenance.” Although primarily designed for indoor walls and floors, Parador Cotto tiles can also be applied to exterior walls for those wishing to extend the look outdoors.
Available now from Porcelain Superstore, the Parador Cotto collection is priced at £28.80 per square metre.
