Work From Here, a Birmingham-based organization dedicated to transforming the world of remote working, has taken a significant stride forward in its mission by announcing an exciting new partnership with Penta, an international hotel chain with properties across the UK.

This pioneering online platform simplifies access to a city-wide directory of venues offering collaborative working spaces, catering to remote workers, freelancers, and individuals seeking a new way of working.

Since its inception, Work From Here has successfully opened up numerous popular spaces in Birmingham, including Loki Wine, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, and Birmingham City Football Club, providing exciting workspace opportunities. The platform’s user-friendly nature has attracted many venues in Birmingham, and with this partnership, the number of participating venues across the nation is expected to grow rapidly.

Jo Seabright, Founder of Work From Here, explained the inspiration behind the organization, stating, “Birmingham has spearheaded a cultural shift in how we work. The idea for Work From Here originated during the pandemic when I wanted to work in a different environment with clear expectations. As nothing like this existed, we decided to create it. As the demand for Work From Here continues to grow, we are thrilled to expand the concept nationwide.”

Penta Hotels operates six hotels in the UK and more than 20 across Europe. Susana Balint, Regional Director Sales UK, expressed their pride in being the first organization to support Work From Here’s expansion beyond Birmingham. Balint stated, “It is crucial for us that all our hotels reflect and integrate into the local neighborhoods and communities they serve. This exciting partnership will enable us to foster stronger connections with our local communities.”

Booking a workspace through Work From Here is simple. Users can select customized packages tailored to each venue’s offerings. These packages may include amenities such as Wi-Fi, unlimited tea and coffee, and a variety of tailored menu options, providing a personalized experience for remote workers.
