Bradley Hall Opens First Scottish Office in Edinburgh to Expand UK Property Services

Bradley Hall, a national property consultancy, has inaugurated its 13th office in the UK, marking its first establishment in Scotland with a new branch in Edinburgh. This expansion aims to provide RICS Valuations and Commercial Agency services to clients throughout Edinburgh and Central Scotland.
The Edinburgh office will be headed by Duncan Fraser, Director and Head of Office, who brings over 15 years of experience in the Scottish property market. He is joined by Giles Harker, Senior Surveyor, whose background includes extensive work in commercial property sales and lettings. Their combined expertise forms the foundation of Bradley Hall’s initial Scottish operation.
Richard Rafique, Group Managing Director, described the launch as “a hugely exciting milestone for Bradley Hall and represents our first step into the Scottish market.” He emphasised the company’s strategy of blending strong local knowledge with the wider network’s expertise, identifying a clear opportunity to apply this approach in Scotland.
Rafique added, “Duncan and Giles bring an excellent combination of experience to the new office. Duncan’s extensive knowledge of the Scottish valuation and commercial property market, alongside Giles’ experience across a wide range of commercial instructions, gives us a very strong foundation from which to establish our presence in Edinburgh.” He also outlined ambitions to grow the office and broaden its service offerings, aiming to build long-term client relationships across Scotland.
Duncan Fraser’s career began with the Lothian Valuation Board before moving into commercial surveying, holding senior roles within the Scottish property sector. His expertise covers commercial valuations for private clients, pension providers, banks, and lending institutions, as well as commercial agency, rating consultancy, rent reviews, lease renewals, and lease negotiations across the East of Scotland.
Commenting on the new office, Duncan said, “The opportunity to establish ourselves in a capital city with such a diverse and dynamic business community is particularly exciting. Edinburgh is home to businesses across financial services, technology, professional services, tourism, retail, hospitality and many other sectors, and we are looking forward to supporting businesses across the city and wider region with their valuation, disposal and acquisition needs.” He also highlighted the advantage of Bradley Hall’s independent status, allowing a client-focused service.
Initially, the Edinburgh office will concentrate on valuation and commercial property services in Edinburgh and Central Scotland, leveraging local experience and collaboration with colleagues across Bradley Hall’s network. Duncan expressed enthusiasm about expanding the range of services available to clients in the future.
Giles Harker brings experience from London-based consultancy Frost Meadowcroft, where he managed a variety of commercial property instructions including sales and lettings of office, industrial, and investment properties. He has advised institutional, private, and corporate clients, recently completing a Masters degree in Real Estate and qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor.
