Integra Buildings Projects Record Growth Ahead of 30th Anniversary and Major Expansion

Integra Buildings, a modular construction firm based in Yorkshire, is poised to achieve record financial results in 2026 as it prepares for a significant expansion and its 30th anniversary in 2027.

The company anticipates surpassing £55 million in turnover and exceeding £6 million in pre-tax profits next year, marking the highest figures in its nearly three-decade history. This anticipated performance reflects a strategic shift towards managing more complex, turnkey projects that cover every phase from design and planning to manufacturing and installation.

Integral to this growth has been the expansion of Integra’s workforce, which has increased from approximately 180 employees three years ago to 215 currently. This rise is partly due to the establishment of new departments and specialist teams, including an electrical department, a dedicated pre-construction team, and a site installation team, enhancing the company’s in-house capabilities.

Integra’s CEO, Gary Parker, commented: “We’re extremely proud of the strong progress we continue to make as a business. 2026 is on track to be our best year ever and we see further growth into our 30th anniversary and beyond.” He added, “While market and economic conditions remain challenging, we continue to buck the trend as a business which is growing, both sustainably and at pace. Our success is underpinned by the quality of the projects we deliver, and providing our clients with a service which exceeds expectations.”

In the first half of 2026, Integra recorded a turnover of £25.5 million and pre-tax profits of £2.5 million. The company now forecasts a full-year turnover of £55.6 million and pre-tax profits of £6.35 million. Profit margins are expected to rise to over 11% this year, up from 8% in 2025, reflecting improved operational efficiency.

Integra has experienced notable growth in key sectors such as infrastructure, utilities, and transport, delivering higher-value projects. The business is currently engaged in seven major public sector frameworks, expanding its project pipeline in healthcare, defence, education, and local government.

Supporting its transition to turnkey solutions, Integra has invested in developing in-house expertise that combines bespoke design with high-quality and reliable delivery. This approach has been recognised through the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in 2025, awarded for the company’s pioneering sustainability efforts.

Further investment is underway at Integra’s headquarters in Paull, east of Hull, where planning approval was recently secured for an expansion that will increase the site’s footprint by around one third. The company plans to invest approximately £7 million over the next three years to enhance production facilities and create additional storage space.
