Oxygen Activeplay is set to open a cutting-edge indoor activity park in Crawley on 16 October 2026, just in time for the October half-term holidays. The new venue, located at Crawley Leisure Park on the first floor of the former Nuffield Health site, represents an investment exceeding £2 million and promises a vibrant new destination for families seeking active entertainment.
The park will feature a wide array of interactive and high-tech attractions designed to engage children of all ages. Visitors will begin their experience by passing through Oxygen’s signature Excite Tunnel, an illuminated sensory corridor that builds anticipation before entering the main play area.
Inside, more than 40 Jump and Shout trampolines will provide ample space for jumping and bouncing. Additional highlights include a giant airbag for thrilling landings, two colourful slides for racing friends, and an Interactive Sports Pitch equipped with electronic targets and sensors that transform traditional ball games into dynamic challenges.
Further interactive features include the Strike Zone and I-Wall, which test players’ speed and reflexes as they compete to score points. Notably, Crawley will be the first Oxygen park to introduce the Interactive Pixel Floor, a new activity where players use their feet to complete timed challenges at high speed.
For younger children aged 0-5, a dedicated Toddler Soft Play area will offer a safe environment to bounce, climb, and explore. Daily Toddler Play sessions will ensure little visitors can enjoy the park without the presence of older children.
The park’s Hero Crew team will lead games, activities, and dance parties during each session, allowing parents to relax in the on-site café while keeping an eye on their children. Oxygen Crawley will also provide SEN Peaceful Play sessions tailored for guests who prefer a quieter atmosphere.
Oxygen Crawley aims to become a premier party venue in Sussex, offering four distinct party packages: Toddler, Classic, Jump Up, and BIG-TIME. Each includes 60 minutes of Open Play, 45 minutes in a VIP party area, hot food, unlimited squash, and jump socks for every guest. Dedicated party hosts will manage events to ensure a stress-free experience for parents. Additional upgrades such as ice cream, slushies, party bags, headbands, and a 30 Day Pass for the birthday VIP are available for the Classic Party package.
The new park will create over 60 local jobs, including roles for party hosts, bouncers, and management staff. Recruitment is ongoing, with applications encouraged via the Oxygen website for those interested in joining the Hero Crew.
This opening marks the 19th indoor activity park in Oxygen Activeplay’s portfolio across England. The company is committed to providing accessible, engaging play spaces that encourage families to stay active and make lasting memories.
Stephen Wilson, Chief Executive Officer at Oxygen Activeplay, said: “The rumours are true! We can finally announce that Oxygen is officially coming to Crawley, and we couldn’t be happier to be joining the local community. We’ve been working really hard behind the scenes to create a park that will deliver as much BIG-TIME fun for families as possible.
“We’ve got some amazing activities lined up and can reveal that Crawley will be the first park in the Oxygen family to include our new Interactive Pixel Floor game. We’re really proud to be recruiting an amazing team of Hero Crew from right here in Crawley and the surrounding areas. We’re looking forward to introducing you to them and to welcome you all to your new favourite place to play this October!”
