Runway East, a culture-led flexible workspace operator, has secured a partnership lease for its eighth location at Longley Place in Brighton. The innovative workspace provider will occupy 30,000 square feet of workspace, offering a range of flexible office options to businesses. The doors to the new site are set to open in the summer of 2023, following the signing of a 15-year lease.

Longley Place, a mixed-use Brownfield town center development, has been designed by EPR Architects for L&G. The project includes 209 new build-to-rent homes and has achieved an impressive BREEAM Excellent rating. The completion of construction aligns with the opening of Runway East’s new site, ensuring a seamless transition for occupants.

Runway East will occupy the ground and first floors of the building, providing serviced office space suitable for teams of 1 to 70 desks. Additionally, the site will offer dedicated coworking desk memberships, with prices starting from £390 per month. Runway East aims to create offices that cater to the needs of businesses, offering unique perks such as “dogs on demand,” a run club, and engaging team quizzes and karaoke sessions. The workspace provider already has a network of offices across London, with its closest location in London Bridge, enabling members to access facilities in the capital if required.

Natasha Guerra, CEO of Runway East, expressed enthusiasm about expanding into the vibrant city of Brighton. She noted the increasing opportunities for businesses adopting hybrid work models and remote work options. Guerra stated, “We’re really excited to be adding to the city. Central to our offer is to support businesses with creating offices they truly want to be in.”
