Somerset-based Total Clean Air (TCA), a specialist in cleanroom and contamination control, has been appointed as an approved supplier on multiple public sector procurement frameworks valued at £830 million. These frameworks, operated by Everything Estates under Place Group Limited, offer a streamlined and compliant procurement route for UK organisations requiring TCA’s engineering and cleanroom expertise.

The frameworks cover a range of sectors including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, education, defence, policing, and research. They enable public sector bodies to access TCA’s services without undergoing a full tender process for each project. Instead, customers can select suppliers efficiently through a mini competition or direct award process.

Everything Estates combines public sector compliance and social value with commercial speed and flexibility. Through this UK-wide framework, organisations can procure TCA’s specialist engineering solutions for controlled and regulated environments via a pre-approved route.

TCA’s approved framework categories include Construction & Infrastructure, Building Works, Installations, Repairs & Improvements, Modular Buildings, Project Management & Construction Consultancy, and Hard Facilities Management Services. These appointments support TCA’s ongoing expansion of cleanroom, engineering, and contamination control services across the UK.

Phillip Godden, CEO of Total Clean Air, stated: “Gaining these framework awards make it easier for public sector organisations to access our specialist cleanroom, engineering and contamination control expertise through a compliant procurement route. We see significant opportunities to support organisations operating in highly regulated environments where quality, compliance and technical assurance are critical.”

He added: “The appointments strengthen TCA’s position as a specialist provider of compliant critical environments, HVAC systems, modular infrastructure and hard facilities management services across the UK.”

Public sector clients can now appoint TCA quickly and compliantly via direct award or mini-competition. This procurement route, established by Hornchurch Academy Trust and managed by Place Group Limited, reinforces TCA’s role as a comprehensive partner delivering controlled environment solutions, including proactive delivery, support, and consultancy throughout the project lifecycle.

Claire Delaney, Managing Director of Everything Estates, commented: “Quite simply, Everything Estates gives control to our clients by allowing customers to obtain the best value for money based upon their requirements and not those that are pre-determined by the framework operator. It removes unnecessary bureaucracy and creates a time efficient route for procurement, which delivers enhanced ROI for all parties.”

Assessment feedback highlighted TCA’s strong technical capability and delivery expertise. The company demonstrated its ability to provide complex, high-specification hard facilities management services in specialist environments, alongside proven modular and GMP-compliant construction capabilities that support programme efficiency and operational continuity.

Godden further noted: “Our approved supplier status with Everything Estates provide a strong platform for TCA to develop long-term partnerships with organisations operating in regulated environments. They can access our specialist engineering expertise, technical and regulatory knowledge across the full project lifecycle, from consultancy and design through to installation, validation and ongoing support.”

The appointments align with TCA’s strategic focus on delivering full lifecycle controlled environments for organisations in highly regulated sectors where compliance, technical assurance, and long-term operational performance are essential. The company’s expertise encompasses HVAC systems, cleanrooms, modular infrastructure, and specialist facilities management, supported by consultancy and regulatory understanding.

TCA’s cleanrooms are manufactured in Britain and validated to the highest global standards. Their credentials include projects with defence clients in security-cleared and sensitive infrastructure settings; healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors compliant with GMP and MHRA; university cleanrooms requiring ISO classification; and police and scientific departments supporting critical forensic and analytical processes.
