Frette has re-entered the table linens market, a category integral to its heritage, with a fresh collection designed to enhance the experience of dining. Known for its dedication to quality and craftsmanship, the Italian linen house has long been associated with linens that complement both formal and casual dining settings, embodying the tradition of sharing meals.

The new range, titled Turning Tables, was developed in partnership with Tara Bernerd, Frette’s Creative Design Partner. Building on their previous collaboration for the 2025 Disrupting Architecture collection, Bernerd brings a dynamic and colourful aesthetic to the table linens. Her signature motifs are reimagined as detailed borders on both neutral and coloured fabrics, adding vibrancy while highlighting Frette’s meticulous craftsmanship.

Bernerd commented on the collection, stating: “We all aspire to eat well, live well, and share those joyous experiences, creating memorable moments that stay with us. Table placements are part of the stage that nourishes these occasions as they literally unfold, time and time again. This collection takes a contemporary, dynamic look at tradition, be it placed on a tray in front of your next series, on your yacht or your table of choice.”

The linens are crafted from Frette’s signature cotton–linen blend and feature a carefully chosen colour palette consistent with the brand’s wider design ethos. The collection includes classic hemstitch detailing and geometric borders, providing a subtle yet sophisticated base suitable for various seasons and occasions.

Complementing the linens, Frette offers a selection of elegant entertaining accessories. These include trays made from glossy varnished oak and walnut, adorned with decorative leather inlays featuring the collection’s motifs. Circular leather coasters, each bearing a unique design, come in a refined palette of burgundy, tan, and blue. Additionally, keepsake jars crafted from lacquerware and travertine extend the collection beyond the table, finished with hand-stitched leather lids, scalloped edges, and bronze finials inspired by Modernist patterns.

The collaboration with Bernerd also extends to lighter tonal variations of the Disrupting Architecture throws and cushions. These pieces incorporate cashmere in bold, rich colours and showcase original patterns that reflect cultural nuances and Bernerd’s confident use of colour.

Filippo Arnaboldi, Frette Group CEO, remarked: “We wanted to reintroduce table linens in a way that felt true to Frette, crafted with intention and driven by innovation. Tara Bernerd’s contribution introduces a vibrant point of view that complements the collection beautifully.”

With a history spanning over 165 years, Frette has established itself as a leader in Italian artistry, delivering products that combine innovation with tradition. Since its founding in 1860, the brand has refined its expertise to offer bespoke services and exceptional experiences to discerning clients worldwide. This latest collection, enriched by the partnership with Tara Bernerd, continues that legacy by transforming dining into an elegant and intimate occasion.

Turning Tables and the accompanying collections are available at select Frette boutiques and through Frette.com.
