RAW Charging Launches New EV Hub at Manchester’s Parrs Wood in Partnership with Landsec

RAW Charging, a leading operator of electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints in the leisure, hospitality, and retail sectors, has unveiled a new major EV charging hub at Parrs Wood, Didsbury, Manchester. This development forms part of a £24.5 million national expansion in collaboration with Landsec.

The newly opened hub features 26 EV charging bays, offering a combination of ultra rapid, rapid, and fast charging options designed to accommodate a wide range of drivers. Parrs Wood, a prominent leisure destination attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, hosts a variety of entertainment and dining venues including a Cineworld cinema, tenpin bowling, a Nuffield Health gym, and numerous restaurants.

Visitors to Parrs Wood can now charge their vehicles conveniently while enjoying the site’s diverse amenities. RAW Charging’s initiative aligns with its mission to connect popular locations by providing faster, more accessible EV charging infrastructure, thereby supporting Manchester’s shift towards sustainable transport.

This hub marks the third significant launch in RAW Charging and Landsec’s nationwide rollout, which aims to install over 1,000 new charging bays across 28 flagship retail and leisure sites throughout 2026. The partnership focuses on upgrading existing infrastructure and delivering advanced EV charging technology to enhance the experience for millions of visitors each year.

To celebrate the launch, RAW Charging is offering free charging during the half-term period from Friday 29 May to Monday 1 June 2026 for drivers who sign up to RAW Rewards at the new Parrs Wood hub.
