See Limited Delivers Vibrant Geometric Façade for Coventry School

Corby-based See Limited has completed a visually striking geometric façade for Sherbourne Fields School in Coventry, a special educational needs institution catering to children and young people.
The façade features a bold interlocking pattern of diagonal triangular panels spanning multiple elevations. Each panel was cut from full-size Trespa® Meteon sheets in six distinct colours, selected to create a vibrant and welcoming exterior suitable for the school’s diverse pupil needs.
Performance Panels, the distribution division of See Limited, supplied the six-colour, installation-ready cladding. Their in-house fabrication process involved meticulous panel nesting, cutting sequences, and yield planning to ensure efficient material use while meeting the precise shapes, colours, and quantities required.
Every panel underwent quality checks, was labelled, and packaged by elevation prior to dispatch. This organisation reduced handling and identification time on site, enabling installers to assemble the complex geometric design accurately and efficiently.
John Eyre, Director at Performance Panels, explained the challenges involved: “Turning the architectural concept into a buildable system required far more than supplying decorative panels. The cladding itself had to become the visual language of the building, rather than relying on signage or applied decoration.” He added, “Using CNC routing technology, we produced every triangular component to the required geometry and tolerance, coordinated across six colours, and prepared each piece so that installers could identify its intended position quickly on site.”
